Three million lakes, 100,000 glaciers, 3,000 rivers and 15 national parks - Alaska’s statistics speak for themselves. The largest of the United States, it’s also one of the emptiest and much of its spectacular scenery is unspoilt. Even better, Alaska’s vast array of wildlife – moose, salmon, bears and eagles to name but a few – have escaped human encroachment, and are there for all to see. A dream for anyone interested in nature and outdoor activities.
