The Amazon Turtle Conservation Project is located in the Pacaya Samiria National Reserve. The reserve is relatively isolated and not developed to accommodate conventional tourism.

Getting There
You will need to fly into Lima where you will then transfer onwards to Iquitos. Here you will travel onwards by small riverboat into the Pacaya Samiria National Reserve. Making your way to the reserve, you are likely to encounter pink river dolphins, spectacled caiman, macaws, herons, tamarin monkeys, and possibly even the elusive jaguar!
