Additional workshops, classes and fun activities are available for those who really want to immerse themselves in Latin Culture and get to know the locals!

Every week throughout the year. You should aim to arrive on the Sunday before your programme starts on the Monday.

A wonderfully cultural and social approach to learning Spanish, the language school gives you the chance to learn in a safe environment and get an authentic taste of life in Latin America.

Each weekday is a new experience with four hours of lesson a morning in our modern classrooms complete with patio and internet access. Staying with a local family you’ll be able to practice your new skills and gain a unique insight into Argentinean life, your host family will also take you to the school on your first day, maps are available at the school.

The school itself is close to the Avenida de Julio, famous as one of the liveliest streets in Buenos Aires and not far from one of the key landmarks in Buenos Aires; the Obelisk.

The afternoons are yours to explore the wonders of Buenos Aires with your fellow students or take part in one of the many activities organised by the centre including; tango, football, polo and painting, the notice board is always full of things to do! If you have any questions or need some advice our co-ordinators will be able to show you around and help to make arrangement should you wish to organise some extra excursions!

Workshops
The centre offers several workshops on a weekly basis, the workshops are a brilliant opportunity to practice the skills you’ve learnt and learn more about Argentinean culture and offer a range of fun new experiences.

Tango classes
One of the most famous of Latin America’s exports the tango is a fascinating and beautiful spectacle and a joy to learn! Whatever your skill level you will be able to develop your abilities through formal instruction and dance floor practice, The expert instructors teach both traditional steps and the latest improvisational techniques, giving you the choice of a unique dancing experience.

Photography classes
Discover you inner photographer, and get to grips with the history and theory of this interesting art form. You will be able to improve your understanding of technical and aesthetic elements of photography including; the creating process, composition, development, scripting, camera operation and post-production techniques. If you wish you can test your knowledge with a independent project.

Wine tasting
The sophisticated art of wine tasting is not so easy to master, this professional wine tasting course will help you understand the taste, flavour and intellectual aspects require to savour good wine. Try some of Argentina’s finest and become a true wine tasting proficient.

Polo Experience
Spend a full day at a traditional Argentinean ranch or estamcia learning the complex sport of polo. With classes in the morning and afternoon, a hearty BBQ lunch and the choice of horseback riding or watching a polo match during the evening, this is a truly refined sports day! Polo fans can choose to stay for the nigh the ranch, the additional trio includes dinner and breakfast.

Fileteado painting
This form of painting is a traditional and popular decorative pastime in Buenos Aires. Students will be taught to master the intricate shadowing needed to create the signature three-dimensional effect; painting dragons, birds, flowers, ribbons and acanthus leaves, with Spanish characters and phrases.
