Save £90 when you book this programme, by the end of July!
You will spend time in a part of the country that most travellers will never get to visit. This will give you a fantastic insight into the real Australia and the famous ‘outback’ lifestyle.

Programme Itinerary

Your days will start early allowing you to enjoy the tranquil peace of the early morning with a quick breakfast before heading up to the farm to start the activities. Some of the outback activities that you have the chance to do include:
  • Quad biking
  • Horse riding
  • Mustering
  • General farm hand work such as fencing and driving tractors
  • There will also be time to go on bush walks and simply relax and enjoy the tranquil location

There are two options for this programme depending on whether you would like to take part in paid work after your farm training or whether you simply want to learn some new skills and have fun for a week.

Visa Restrictions
If you are not between the ages of 18-30 you will not be eligible for option A, training week and paid work, due to the visa restrictions.

Option A
Outback Ranch Training Week and Paid Work
Upon arrival you will spend four nights in Brisbane where you will have assistance arranging a bank account, tax number, medicare and a mobile number, with free time to explore.

You will then spend five nights at the training ranch learning farm skills that will prepare you for working on farms and ranches across Australia. Upon completion of the course you receive a 12-month job finding service allowing you to work and play as and when you wish.

Accommodation and Meals
Your Brisbane accommodation, for your first four nights in Australia, is in a backpackers hostel. You will be sharing a room. During your five nights at the training ranch, you will live on site in a shared dorm room and meals are included.

Accommodation on your chosen job will vary from place to place. Accommodation and food are almost always included with the job and if they are not, you will be paid extra to over the cost.

Option B
Outback Ranch Training Experience
Option B does not involve paid work and is a great way to learn new skills, experience the Aussie outback and have some fun!

Upon arrival into Australia you will spend two nights in Brisbane where you can relax, soak up the sun, and go sightseeing. You will then be transferred to the training ranch where, amongst other things, you will have the opportunity to try your hand at driving a tractor riding quad and motorbikes, using a chain saw and mustering cattle. There will also be the opportunity to go on bush walks and learn about the Aussie outdoors.

Accommodation and meals
Option B offers two choices of accommodation – shared accommodation, or, twin/double accommodation. The shared option involves two nights dorm accommodation at a backpackers hostel in Brisbane, and dorm rooms at the training ranch.

The twin/double option includes two nights bed and breakfast located in a quiet bayside suburb of Brisbane, and then five nights farmhouse accommodation at the training ranch. For both options, meals are provided whilst at the training ranch.
