This programme gives you the unique opportunity of becoming an authentic Jackaroo or Jillaroo in the true Oz outback! Whilst at the ranch you will acquire invaluable skills and take away fun memories while enjoying a real “great outdoors” experience. You will have the chance to go horse riding, mustering, quad biking and doing general farm hand work such as driving tractors and helping with boundary fencing. There will be plenty of time to relax too.

Programme Location
The programme begins with couple of nights in Brisbane, then you will be transferred to a training ranch in northwest of Brisbane, Queensland.

Age Limit
There is no upper age limit on this programme.

The Volunteer Programme
This is an incredible experience, learning all sorts of new skills that you would never try anywhere else. You will also visit a part of the country that most travellers never get to go.  You will have a genuine insight to the real OZ  ‘outback’ lifestyle. After an early start, you can enjoy the tranquil peace of the new day, a quick breakfast will set you up for the activities at the farm. You will lunch in a spectacular location nearby. You have the choice of cooling off in your air-conditioned house or you may want simply to take a refreshing dip at the local billabong.

Programme Support
All through your programme you will have the guidance and support of our staff and trainers at the ranch. They will assist and help you with any questions you might have or advice you may need.

Accommodation and meals
You have the choice of your first two nights either in a backpacker hostel or bed and breakfast. Again for the project, you have a choice of dorm accommodation or at a farmhouse located on the ranch with twin or double rooms available. As the group sizes are small, a ‘family’ atmosphere evolves at the ranch. Our trainers will be on site to support you.

The food is great, and you will also have the chance to visit to the local pub and enjoy a Friday evening BBQ.

Getting there
Fly to Brisbane Airport. On your arrival, our representative will meet you and take you to your choice of accommodation.
