Programme Details
Your first 2 nights on the programme are spent in Cairns where you will have the opportunity to relax, explore the city or just catch up on some sleep! Over the following five days you have a mixture of classroom theory and practical exercises including an amazing three-day live-a-board trip to the Great Barrier Reef.
The team finds the best spots for you to learn to Scuba Dive and you will attain full diving tuition from accredited and expert Diving Instructors. Our instructors take you through all the basics and by the end of the week you will have gained your PADI certificate. The PADI 5-day course gives you your basic license to dive anywhere in the world to a maximum depth of eighteen metres.
Your course is divided into two components: two days of pool and classroom training and a three day, two night live-a-board trip to the Outer Great Barrier Reef.
You will have the chance to complete a total of nine dives, these being four training dives and five recreational dives (including a guided night dive).
