The programme is designed for surfers of all abilities – from those who have never attempted it to those who already know how to ride the waves. There’s also the flexibility to make the programme extra relaxing with more massages and yoga classes – or extra active with more surfing lessons.

Surf Star Programme

Your group will be divided into three main groups – beginner, intermediate and advanced. Whichever group you’re put into, you’ll be with people of a similar ability. The tutors are encouraging, and will help you to get the most out of your lessons.
Your programme will include detailed explanations of the following subjects:
  • Wave theory
  • Oceanology
  • Surfing technique and biomechanics
  • Understanding your equipment
  • Identifying dangers and surf location briefings - aimed at helping you better understand what’s going on in the ocean.
Massages and Yoga Lessons
You’ll be given two sports massages per week of your stay. Any tension not relieved by Bali’s beautiful landscapes will be kneaded away during a sports massage. For every week of the programme you stay, you’ll also have three yoga sessions. Apart from helping you to relax, the sessions will keep you fresh and flexible for your surfing lessons.

Bali Cultural Trip
A trip to some of Bali’s highlights is included in the programme. You’ll pay a visit to Ubud, known as the cultural capital of Bali and Tanah Lot, an offshore temple, and stop off at market villages on the way.
