Project Location
This project is centrally located in the beautiful and lively colonial city of Sucre; home to some of Bolivia’s most stunning architecture and landscapes. With countless museums, shops, restaurants, bars, clubs, and a lively central plaza, there is never a shortage of activities to occupy your time.

The city and surrounding villages have sizable indigenous populations that maintain their customs and colourful dress, adding to the charm of this unique and diverse city, and making it a fantastic place to volunteer.

Free time and organised activities
Free time is during the evenings and on the weekends. During this time you can take excursions to other parts of the country, or stay in town to get to know the community more intimately.

Sandra Maldonado, our onsite coordinator and language school director, is a fantastic host and will organise any tours or excursions for you at a discount. Alternatively, you can travel independently with other volunteers from this project or other projects in Sucre.
