Voluntary Work

Volunteers play an integral part in aiding the development of the area whilst retaining traditional ways of life. Time will be spent interacting with the local Sabahan community, and helping with refurbishment, giving you a great opportunity to truly immerse yourself into the local culture.

Other activities may involve working in the nearby medicine garden to improving infrastructure within the community itself. Also included in the programme is a trip to the world famous Klias Wetland Reserve for a river cruise.

Volunteer duties are dependant upon the needs and priorities of the village at the time you are there, which makes any time you can give to the project even more valuable.
