Camp Canada Counsellor Programme

The Canada Camp Counsellor programme sends you to one of three fantastic locations in the heart of Canada, so that you can spend the summer working and playing at some of the most respected, well run and popular activity camps in the country.

Camp Canada Counsellor Role

Your role on the programme will be to look after the young campers, supporting them on a daily basis and taking the lead on a range to adventure activities. As a camp mentor, you will be looked up to as a role model by the children, who will come to rely on you to direct and take care of them throughout their stay at the camp where they will be making friends, learning new skills and a new language.

Whistler, Vancouver and Ontario Camps: focus mainly on the sports, skills and interests that you, as a counsellor are able to bring to the camp. In the past activities such as football, volleyball, basketball, swimming, running and arts and crafts have been popular at these camps.

The London Camp: has more of a focus on tennis and horseback riding. Only counsellors who are experts in this field will lead these activities.

The Adventure Camp: in Whistler, it is attended by 13 to 17 year old English or non-English speakers. As a counsellor at this camp you will have the responsibility of leading Extreme Sport activities such as wilderness hikes, mountain biking, kayaking, rock climbing etc. This is a great camp for any outdoor enthusiasts!

Location

Two cities in the state of British Colombia; Whistler and Vancouver and the city of London, Ontario.

Accommodation and Meals

Your accommodation will be a single dorm room and your meals will be eaten in the camp dining area, with both campers and staff.

£195 deposit, the remaining balance is due 12 weeks before departure.
