The project concentrates mainly on teaching, healthcare (including HIV/AIDS awareness and education), environmental projects, and fine arts and cultural initiatives in Canada. However, the programme can be tailored to suit the particular interests and strengths of each participant.

Voluntary Work Options in Canada

Option 1: Therapeutic Sailing Programme
Volunteers are needed at this sailing foundation to assist with the rehabilitation of youth at risk or people with disabilities. By interacting through sailing you will aid in providing leadership, guidance and social interaction. Volunteers are required to have sailing experience.

Option 2: Victoria School Volunteer
Volunteers will act as a classroom assistant to provide children with educational opportunities that empower them in order to create fundamental social change towards more fulfilling and ecologically sustainable communities.

Option 3: Art Volunteer Canada
Participants will work within a gallery greeting visitors, working in gift shops, helping with general administration and possibly helping with tours for children. If volunteers have artistic skills they are welcome to work within local studios possibly directing classes for people with physical and developmental disabilities or senior citizens.

Option 4: Therapeutic Riding Centre BC
Volunteers will work providing horseback riding lessons for people with disabilities. The riding lessons offered are much needed and highly sought after by disabled individuals. Tasks include: Assisting riders with balancing and interpreting instructor directions, Horse grooming, Leading and exercising horses, teaching classes, Administration of riding centre, etc.

Option 5: Create your own volunteer project
We can find a project in the general fields below or based on your hobbies, previous skills or employment.
