The programme begins with two weeks of teacher training and in-country orientation to ensure that you are able to teach your class to the best of your abilities. Working across several schools you will be teaching children of varying ages, from kindergarten age to secondary school level. Creativity is the key as your central focus will be teaching conversational English; you can help to improve children’s understanding and enjoyment of the language by practicing with fun games and songs. You will find your pupils eager, receptive and very interested in their foreign teacher!

Health and safety is important and in order to teach English in China you are required to undergo a medical examination. This will be performed by a doctor in-country during your training weeks.
