Community Voluntary Projects Senegal
Senegal is a great place to volunteer during your grown-up gap year. Gap Year for Grown Ups have a wide variety of worthwhile projects which you can join, giving you a close insight into the West African Country's unique culture.
Through helping disadvantaged communities, you will receive an enriching cultural experience.
Voluntary WorkSenegal has a number of community voluntary projects which you can become involved in. Working with underprivileged communities, you can:
- Teach English to children and village members
- Work in an orphanage
- Healthcare
- HIV/AIDS awareness and education
LocationThe Senegal programmes are largely based within the capital city of Dakar and surrounding urban areas
Accommodation and MealsAll of the volunteers in Senegal will live with a local host family. The accommodation will be basic, but comfortable. For more details, contact a Travel Adviser.
