The existence of the sea turtle hangs in the balance. At present, just 1 in every 5000 eggs laid will grow to become an adult turtle, with human intervention just one of a series of threats faced by turtle populations. Our projects in Costa Rica desperately require volunteers to help with conservation projects during the turtle-nesting season. |
