Language School
The Language school is unique in the sense that it emphasises cultural understanding as well as language teaching, giving students an all round knowledge. Cooking lessons, Latin song and dance classes are just a few of the fun cultural activities included in your programme
The school is owned and staffed entirely by Costa Ricans and is one of the few schools in the country that is, so you know you are having a genuinely Costa Rican experience! They know that the best way to learn a language is and how to make lessons interesting and enjoyable. The aim of the school is to get you having lots of fun by using dynamic, varied teaching methods. Classes can be intensive, but we all like a challenge!
The course gets students participating in class straight away and with the small class sizes they’ll be a great friendly atmosphere to help you relax. The classes emphasise the oral side of the Spanish language, with a focus on pronunciation, pragmatic use, grammar and vocabulary, along with cultural understanding.
Class size will generally be about 3 or 4 students, never more than 6.
