Costa Rica Spanish and Salsa
The main components of this project are learning the Spanish language and learning the Latino dance moves. Learn spanish in the morning and spend your afternoons dancing, you will also have dance classes at the dance academy 4 times a week. With all the practice you are having you’ll be speaking Spanish and dancing like a pro in no time!
The Spanish and Salsa ProgrammeThe Merecumbé Method combines the style of the Colombian Merengue (Mere) and the Cumbia (cumbe) in an excitingly different dance style. The Cumbia is a very popular throughout South America that originated from a Columbian folk dance, whereas the Merengue, a fun, easy to learn dance, originated from Hispaniola. The two mixed together makes for the ultimate Latin dance extravaganza! The teaching staff are trained dancers.
Your Spanish Classes
Your Spanish lessons will be held on Monday through to Thursday, for 5 hours in the mornings. Your classes will generally have 3 to 4 students in them, so you are getting a lot more one to one attention that meets your individual needs.
You will concentrate on a variety of aspects of the Spanish language, the main focus will be communicating. You will also look at grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation and pragmatic use. All abilities are catered for and you will be put in the beginner, intermediate or advanced level class.

Host family accommodation in your own private bedroom; a great opportunity to practice your Spanish and to get an authentic experience of Costa Rican daily life. Your family will provide breakfast & dinner daily.
