Orientation
When you first arrive at the Centre you’ll be given an orientation by your project coordinator, which will contain information on the following topics:
- Local area information
- The park residents
- Your role at the project
- Health and safety (for you and the animals!)
This is the best time to ask any questions you may have concerning the project or Costa Rica in general, so please don’t hesitate. Of course the project staff will always be around to answer any questions throughout the duration of your project.
Programme Support
Throughout your time on the programme, you will be guided and supported by the local onsite coordinators, who will be able to give you competent assistance and field support. They will also always be on hand to give any advice and answer any questions that you have.
Additionally, you will be given the number to our 24 hour emergency phone so you can contact one of the UK staff should you really need to.
