Peru Language School
A language course is a fantastic way to start your adventure. Learning the language is the best way to make the most out of your volunteer project.
The lessons will help you converse with the locals, introduce you to the culture and it's a great way to meet new people.
Cultural ActivitiesOrganized trips or activities are offered & included in cost 2-3 times/week. Such as: city tour, cooking class, dance class, parties, videos, lectures, trips to museums. Student just pays for own transportation, entrance fee, etc.
LocationThe school is conveniently located, about five minutes away from the main square, the Plaza de Armas, the central meeting area of Cusco.
Accommodation and Meals
All of our friendly host families belong to Peru´s middle class. Please note that living standards in Peru are generally lower than in Europe or North America. Their homes are located in neighbourhoods usually no more than a 10 minute bus ride to school.
Participants choosing to stay with a family should recognize that a certain degree of flexibility will be required to adjust to the Peruvian customs and way of life.
You will have your own private room but generally the bathroom is shared. The host family provides 3 meals per day and will also offer a laundry service.
VolunteeringWhy not apply your newly developed/advanced language skills by volunteering? You can give something back while also developing your confidence and vocabulary.
