Language School
We recommend that any participants of our volunteer projects, who speak no Spanish or are not confident about their spoken Spanish, attend the school. Speaking the native language not only makes the whole experience more complete, it also makes things on the projects a whole lot easier, as the people you will be working with will speak very little English.
Language School classes run from 8.30-12.30 and then from 1.00-5.00, Monday through Friday, giving you the choice between morning and afternoon lessons.
The bonus of learning at our language school is the fact that you get to work one on one with the teachers, giving you the chance to real work on the areas that you find difficult, at your own pace. Our teachers all have a minimum of ten years teaching experience and are all native speakers with degrees in Spanish, so you’re in good hands!
Students of any level can be catered for at the school, from complete beginners to advanced. By completing 300 hours or more you can get yourself a certificate from the Ministry of Education of Ecuador, though if you would like one, you can get a certificate from the Language School itself by completing less hours.
