This project is based in Quito, Ecuador’s capital city.
Ecuador With its exotic coastlines, rugged mountains and dramatic rainforests, it’s no wonder Ecuador is building a reputation as a must-see destination. Add to that a rich cultural history and some of the continent’s most accommodating locals and you have a recipe for an unforgettable trip. Despite being the smallest of the Andean nations, Ecuador is one of the most biologically diverse countries in the world. The breathtaking Andean mountain chain, home to the highest active volcano in the world, separates the exotic pacific beaches to the west and the virtually impenetrable Amazon Jungle to the east, while the country’s captivating capital, Quito, boasts classic, colonial architecture, bustling markets and breathtaking views.
Weather In Ecuador, the seasons are the reverse of those in the northern hemisphere. In May and June, autumn brings warm days and cool nights. Some say the climate is at its best at this time of year in many parts of the country. July marks the beginning of winter in Ecuador, when temperatures vary from around 36 degrees Fahrenheit overnight to 70-80 degrees at midday. Free Time If you feel you need additional Spanish classes you can do this in your spare time. At the weekends, you have the opportunity to travel and experience the amazing scenic and cultural diversity that Ecuador has to offer.
Getting There Arrange for an international flight into Quito airport. Here you will be met by a representative and taken to your accommodation. The following day you will receive your orientation.
