Whether you are a complete beginner, or all ready hold dive qualifications, we have a course for you. Every course follows the PADI standard, however, if you have trained to the BSAC (British Scuba Aqua Club) equivalent, our programme can ensure you receive all of the correct training to the PADI structure.
Learning to dive in one of the worlds most beautiful locations will mean you will want some time to relax and explore which is why we have included free time during, or after, each course.
Open Water Programme (1 week)
Achieving your Open Water qualification will mean you can dive anywhere in the world to depths of 18 metres. With the course taking just 4 days this is the perfect start to a longer trip, but also suitable for those short on time. The remaining days are for you to spend as you wish.
Open Water and Advanced Programme (2 weeks)
This course will take you from being a complete beginner through to holding an Advanced Open Water certificate allowing you to dive down to 30 metres. The advanced course takes 2-3 days to complete (dependant upon your chosen electives). You need to complete 10 dives choosing from night dive, deep dive, navigation, naturalist, underwater photography and more.
Open Water to Rescue Diver Programme (3 weeks)
Arrive in Fiji as a dive novice and leave Fiji as rescue diver! This is possible in just three weeks by first completing the Open Water and Advanced Open Water courses and then a 4-day rescue diver course. The course requires you to complete 5 academic modules and you will learn emergency management, how to identify equipment problems and diver stress, and diver first aid. To complete this course, you will need a First Aid/CPR qualification, which can either be an existing qualification or can be complete in Fiji for around £65.
Please Note: If you are all ready qualified, and looking for further qualifications that are not mentioned here, please contact the Gap Year for Grown Ups office to enquire about other possible options.
