Football Coaching Ecuador

Ecuador, like many other Latin American countries, has a passion for football that can only be matched with their devotion to religion. As a means for social development, football is a really effective means to keep children off the streets and to give them a structured environment in which to learn.

Join this project to help coach football to underprivileged children in Ecuador. Use your skills and passion for the sport to help young aspiring players stay off the streets in Quito.

This project is perfectly suited to football enthusiasts of any ability, whom are interested in giving something back and developing their Spanish skills at the same time.

Voluntary Football Coaching

This football project provides coaching and schooling to about 120 boys and girls from different backgrounds in Quito. The schools' main aims are to provide children with a structured environment to play in, while improving their overall health, fitness and education prospects.

Accommodation and Meals

Accommodation is included in your programme. During the language and culture programme, you will stay with a local host family. When volunteering, you will stay in a volunteer residence.

Most meals are included. Your host family and volunteer residence will provide you breakfast and an evening meal each day. Meals are made with local ingredients and in the local style, often including rice, chicken and vegetables.
