After 20 years of non-stop working we had both decided that we'd had enough. We rented the house out and set off eastbound on the amazing Trans-Siberia train from Moscow to China.
What a crazy journey, but it set a good tone for the trip. We toured through China and down through South East Asia to Malaysia and Thailand.
New Zealand was next, where we rented a camper and toured both islands. Our friend Jeremy came out from the UK to visit and we all went Para-gliding off a mountain, scary but great! |
In Australia, we visited friends and then joined a conservation project for four weeks. After touring around we flew off to the USA and Canada, where we bought a camper van and drove all over the place, visiting friends and sightseeing.
Finally it was time to come home. We said goodbye to camper and flew back to the UK. |
