The Hindu solar New Year is marked by the Baisakhi festival, which falls on Monday 14th of April 2008. It normally falls on 13th April, however every 36 years it falls on 14th April, it is celebrated all over India. It's a huge event where lots of partying, worshipping and bathing in all Sikh communes will take place.
