Warning: A high percentage of Annual Multi-trip and Single trip policies on the market, including Bank/Supermarket travel insurance policies, are NOT suitable for Gap Year for Grown Up trips due to either limitation of number of days you can travel, or due to restrictions in the activities they cover. We strongly recommend that if you intend using another insurance that you obtain, in writing, that the alternative insurance covers the length of your trip and will cover all the activities you are going to do, or may wish to do, on the trip. Don't accept a verbal comment. Have a look at the activities covered under our insurance policies for comparison.

(*) Gap Year for Grown Ups are not allowed under the FSA Rules to offer advice as to which insurance you should buy. It is therefore important that you check the levels of cover and read the cover provided to ensure that it meets your individual needs (including cover for activities you may want to do on the trip). For full details of the cover provided click here for the Key Facts document and full Policy wording. Please note the need to declare any pre-existing medical conditions not only of yourself but also of anyone on whom the travel plans depend. That may include the health of a relative if that person’s pre-existing medical condition may mean you have to cancel or curtail your trip. If you do not declare that condition no cover will apply for any claim resulting.
