Did you know? A chicken in Thailand is approximately 50p, in Sydney petrol costs approximately 74p per ltr, and 2 course meal with a drink in Bolivia will only set you back as little as 30p! (approximately)
Beat the crunch, rent your house & have an experience of a lifetime!

Travel now... beat the crunch, with the doom and gloom of the credit crunch blaring over our radios and sweeping the nation each morning on the news, why not escape it all?

What about my mortgage? If you have a house and are worried about your mortgage, go travelling and get someone else to pay it! More people will be looking to rent because they are too nervous to buy.

What about my job? If redundancies are threatening at work, your employer might want to get rid of you for a year. This will mean less overheads for them, and for you - a secure future, time to travel and a job when you get back!

What about my savings? The general cost of living in Britain is soaring - food, fuel, alcohol - we suggest you go now... you'll be surprised how far your money goes, and we could even find you paid work on your trip.

We'll ensure you're insured! It is essential that everyone travelling has travel insurance, but this isn't exactly the most exciting part of planning your trip.

So, book your programme by the 31st July* and we will throw in our comprehensive travel insurance for free - saving you time and money!

Got a question? Feeling swamped by all the choices? Maybe you already know what you want to do? Get in touch and ask our advice. We're on hand to help you plan any aspect of your trip, so call us on 01892 701881 or click here to drop us a line. Not ready? Marcia Watson
Career Breaker of the month... a college lecturer, jets off to Africa in September to join our Lake Malawi Teaching project for 4 weeks, followed by 8 weeks on the Lake Malawi Medical project. She then plans to spend a further four and a half months on the Nepal Community Volunteers programme.
Marcia Watson explains why she decided to up sticks:

What was your motivation to take a break and go travelling?
It is something that I have always wanted to do but as a single parent with two small boys it was not a feasible option. Now that the boys are grown up and leading independent lives, and with a supportive partner, I felt the time was right. I also wanted a break from teaching & feel that I will return to college feeling refreshed & invigorated.
