World Exclusive for our Volunteers...
Gap Year for Grown Ups volunteers had an unexpected treat last week when they witnessed the world's first great ape cataract operation.

Malaysia Orang-utan Experience

19-year-old Aman is said to be doing well; the 3 hour surgery brought him a step closer to his release back into the wild.

Mozambique Cyclone Update

Mozambique Cyclone Relief

Much of central Mozambique was devastated in the tropical Cyclone, Favio in February 2007, leaving many communities homeless. Gap Year for Grown Ups has sent a stream of emergency relief volunteers to help clear coastal areas and rebuild homes. But there is still much to do and help is desperately needed in this beautiful country.

Join our Mozambique Community Development project and you could make a difference directly to those lives left vulnerable by this natural disaster.
