This is just to let you know I am back. I enjoyed the work and the people were great. I designed a new clean water system for them using tanks, and we installed this in one week, rather than the normal time of four weeks. I look forward to more trips.

Julie Jones, June-July 2006
Up until now I have always travelled in organised groups, I retired from teaching last year and was looking to do something different but I was concerned about what age was a ‘grown up' classed as?

I am 61 years old, fit and healthy, but was I considered to be too ‘over the hill' for something like this? The good news… apparently not!

The project touched my heart and after four weeks I vowed that I wanted to do more to help. I now use my photos to fundraise and feel that in some way I have helped raise awareness of the plight of all those that I met.

If you have been on this travel project, we'd love to hear from you!
