Travel Swaziland

Get adventurous in Africa with the Kruger to Coast adventure, packed full of the best of what southern Africa has to offer. Experience wildlife, people, culture and beaches as you intrepidly venture through South Africa, Swaziland and Mozambique, interspersed with exciting game drives, worthwhile volunteering and chilled out beach time!

Orientation

At the start of your tour you will have an arrival orientation, which will provide you with further information about what to expect for the duration of your programme. This is also a great opportunity for you to raise any questions that you may have and find out more about the tour and the volunteer projects that you will be taking part in.

Accommodation and Meals

While in Kruger National Park you will be camping in dome safari tents (camping equipment will be provided). Accommodation while in Ezulwini, Swaziland will be in a backpacker lodge in a dorm room. While in Tofo, Mozambique, you will stay in beach style reeded dorms. With each type of accommodation, a mattress, sheet, pillow and pillowcase will be provided but you will need to bring your own sleeping bag.

All meals will be provided throughout the tour and participants will share the cooking duties on a relaxed rotational basis. Cooking facilities will be communal and quite basic and food will be purchased during a weekly food shop. Generally breakfast will consist of cereals and toast, for lunch you will have sandwiches and salad and for dinner you will have a cooked meal.

Please let us know if you have any special dietary requirements and your tour guide will cater for you as best as possible.

Free Time

During most of the weekends, you will have free time to travel and explore. A wide variety of exciting optional activities will be available to you including horse riding, mountain biking, the cultural quad bike tour, white water rafting, tandem paragliding and hiking, taking part in cultural festivities, visiting craft markets or just relaxing in the sun. Please remember that any additional activities will be at your own expense. Accommodation and meals at the weekends are included in the tour price, but if you choose to use alternative accommodation or eat out, you will be responsible for covering the cost.

In addition you will have access to a 24 hour emergency contact number so you can contact one of our UK staff at any time should you need to.

Project Age Limit
