The marsh mongoose is a small, brown animal found in the wetter parts of Africa. It is a fierce animal that is an active hunter feeding on a variety of ground living animals, as well as eggs and fruits.
The marsh mongoose ranges in length from 1.5 to 3.5 feet, including the tail, which is about as long as the body.
