Mozambique has something of all the best bits of Africa: spectacular waterfronts, elegant architecture and of course, wildlife to keep you glued to your binoculars. Something of a newcomer to the travelling scene, Mozambique captivates those who visit and sends them back singing its praises.
For wildlife, head for Gorongosa National Park or Maputo National Reserve. For white sandy beaches, head for the Bazaruto Archipelago and for something really special, head over to Mozambique Island, a World Heritage Site.
Our Mozambique community development project offers you the opportunity to contribute to important community support and sports programmes, working with children in rural African villages. There’ll be plenty of opportunity to explore Mozambique whilst you’re here.
The Ultimate South African adventure! Tour South Africa’s world famous Kruger NP, work on projects with underprivileged communities in Swaziland and flop on an Indian Ocean beach and relax in Mozambique.
The Whale Shark is the world’s largest living fish, and the idea of seeing them up close is either scary or exhilarating, depending on whom you talk to. Volunteers on this project will be able to learn about and observe the behaviours of the whale sharks off the coast of Mozambique, during many scuba diving sessions.
