Help to care for the welfare of animals that have been orphaned or injured. The centre aims to operate as a soft release area for animals that have been rehabilitated successfully from the Noah’s Ark project, 300 kilometres East of Windhoek.



Your Typical Itinerary

Each day on the project, you will experience a structured schedule. However, please note that this is intended as a guideline only and may vary to meet the needs of the animals and programme. Your itinerary may be as follows:

07:00: Breakfast
08:00: Morning meeting with the volunteer co-ordinator to plan the day ahead
08:30: Food preparation and feeding of the big cats and small animals around the farm
09:30: Enclosure patrol
11:00: Morning activity (varies)
13:00: Lunch and free time
15:00: Afternoon activity (varies)
17:00: Food preparation and feeding of the small animals
20:00: Dinner and free time

Volunteers should be prepared for the daily schedule to change at short notice to meet the needs of the project.
