Nepal Everest Basecamp Expedition

A hike to Everest base-camp is the challenge of anyone’s lifetime, but that’s just one part of this adventure expedition. Then, in case you need another adrenalin rush, you’ll take a three-day rafting trip and a jungle safari.



Nepal

Known as the ‘Abode of the Gods’, Nepal is in a state of natural beauty, with the highest mountains in the world and is renowned for its spectacular views. Nepal is separated into two religious groups: Indo-Argans and Mangloid. The main language is Nepali, however there are twenty other languages, which are divided into numerous dialects.

Nepal is 5 hours and 45 minutes ahead of GMT.

Getting there

Fly to Kathmandu airport where you will be met and taken to Thamel.

Climate

Nepal has two monsoons per year.  The dry season runs from October to May and the wet from June to September.  Summer is May to September with temperatures reaching 30 degrees. Even in the winter months from October to April, the bright sunny days can reach 20 degrees but plummets at night.
