In such an uncrowded and unspoilt country, an organised, small-group tour is an ideal way to explore all that New Zealand has to offer. This varied tour takes you on an exciting journey through both of New Zealand’s beautiful islands.

Explore New Zealand's northern heartland - from the secluded beaches of the coast to the volcanic craters and thermal features of the central plateau then discover the splendid South Island with its glaciers, mountains, fjords and Wild West coast. Adventure activities abound (optional of course!) - sea kayaking & snorkelling in the Bay of Islands, underground black water rafting at Waitomo, bungee and jet boating at Taupo, mountain biking and sailing in Nelson, hiking on the Franz Joseph Glacier, spotting whales in Kaikoura and all activities imaginable at Queenstown, New Zealand's extreme sport capital.

This tour is also available in the opposite direction.

What’s Included in the Programme

  • Services of a professional tour guide
  • All transportation by mini-bus
  • 20 nights fully accommodated (L on the above schedule & boat cruise)
  • Overnight boat trip in Bay of Islands on cruise boat (May be day trip during winter months May - September depending on conditions.)
  • Visit to Te Papa museum in Wellington
  • Waitomo Caves entrance
  • Entrance to the Te Puia Maori arts and culture centre in Wakarewarewa
  • Inter island ferry crossing
  • Overnight Milford Sound cruise (this will be a day cruise on May - September departures with an option of the Dart River Jet Safari instead)
  • Kayaks on the Milford Wanderer (October - April only)
  • Gondola trip to the Skyline overview in Queenstown
