Thailand Adventure Project

I enjoyed my 8 week trip to Thailand so much!

The 3 week tour was fantastic, I saw and learned so much.

The jungle trekking was pretty tough (for a woman of my advanced years!!), however, I was really pleased I did it and felt a huge sense of achievement when I reached the campsite.

I experienced so many things during my trip, washing in rivers, fantastic food, wonderful people and fantastic scenery to name but a few.

We also saw so many different things, the temples, palaces, waterfalls, I could go on and on. Our guides Aoi and Ocha were really great, nothing was too much trouble and they kept us all entertained.
The beach week on Koh Chang was brilliant - we needed a rest after the 3 week whirlwind tour of Thailand.

What a beautiful island, it was so relaxing and the hotel was great.

However, by far my favourite part was the 4 weeks I spent with my elephant. I was totally enthralled by the whole experience.
I have to admit that I was quite fearful about riding these huge beasts but that fear quickly disappeared.

Everybody was so kind and patient and I really did have the time of my life and that is probably why I am finding it so hard to settle back into the ‘rat-race'!!
