New Peru Dolphin Research Project is a Real success!
Our first group of intrepid Gap Year for Grown Ups researchers have returned from 4 weeks on the Peruvian coast monitoring and identifying over 300 wild Bottlenose Dolphins.
During their time in Peru our volunteers have taken over 5000 photos and every day were witness to pods sometimes up to 100 dolphins swimming and diving alongside the research boat. Results are being collated and will be published on our website shortly.
Our next group is set to depart in January 2007 and there are only a few places remaining.
Here's what one of our volunteers had to say about the project...
"Working on the Gap Year for Grown Ups dolphin project has truly been an amazing experience. Every day has brought new adventures. Getting up close and personal to these graceful, intelligent creatures is a memory, which I will hold dear to my heart, and will stay with me for life."
