Programme Details

Spending time with the wild animals and horses is central to this programme but a lot of attention is also paid to conservation and all aspects of the local ecology.

Conservation Focus
The emphasis is in offering the students a unique bush experience on horseback, walking and driving, where attention is paid not only to the animals, but also to all aspects of local ecology

Possible Voluntary Work
As a student on this voluntary work in South Africa you will spend about 40% of their time assisting with the care and welfare of the horses, which are used for horseback safaris on the property.

The surrounding game reserves have the big African game, including the Big 5, but there are no permanent predators at the project, so safety is not a problem.
