The centre aims to rescue wild animals from situations where they have been neglected and/or maltreated. These animals are then provided with enclosures as close to their natural environment as possible and are given the best care. The centre strives to care for as many of Thailand’s sick and disabled animals as they can.

All animals are provided with shelter and where possible they are rehabilitated to the point where they can be reintroduced into the wild. However, many of them have suffered a permanent disability and can, therefore, not be returned to the wild. So, the sanctuary aims to give these particular animals the very best life that they can whilst they are living in captivity.

There are quite a wide variety of animals currently residing at the centre including two species of gibbon, five species of macaques, species of civets, bears, small cats and big cats including tigers and leopards, loris, many exotic bids and crocodiles.

Voluntary Work

The jobs that you will be doing at the sanctuary may include:
  • Preparing the animals food – fruit, vegetables and cooked meat
