Volunteer with gibbons in America

A unique opportunity to work closely with with one of the largest and rarest groups of gibbons in the world. It is an outstanding experience for those wishing to purse a career in wildlife conservation.



Your Typical Itinerary

Example Daily Schedule

07:00 First Apple Feed and Monkey Chow
08:30 Vitamins:
Monday, Wednesday, Friday: Chewable Multivitamins
Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday, Sunday: NFS rice cakes
09:15 Lettuce Feed
09:45 Vegetable Feed
11:30 Nut Snack, Mealworms, Wax-worms
13:00 Second Apple Feed
13:45 First Banana Feed
14:20 Second Banana Feed
15:00 Lettuce Feed and clean Kitchen
15:30 Change Waters (fill buckets 1/4 full), spray food platforms, and scrub food and faeces off of chain link, shower rakes and dustpans
17:00 Wind up end of day tasks and enjoy your evening off

Please bear in mind that this is a working wildlife sanctuary and volunteers will be expected to do long hours in sometimes very hot weather conditions. It is not a holiday.
