USA Raft the Grand Canyon
From the comfort of the raft you can enjoy 14 days of Canyon sights and sounds in just 8 days, stopping off to get a closer look at particularly unusual features and to enjoy your spectacular surroundings. If you’re confident in and around water and want to take on an exhilarating adventure… this is the trip for you!
Your Rafting TripRight in the middle of the desert it may be, but thanks to the waters of the Colorado River the Grand Canyon is bursting with life- planet, bird and animal. River banks are dotted with wildflowers and cactus and spreading out from the base of the tumbling waterfalls, you’ll see lush green blankets of ferns lying across the canyon floor. Mule deer, bighorn sheep, ringtail cats and coyotes pace the rivers edge whilst up above golden eagles, falcons and hawks soar and great blue herons and egrets fish in shallower waters.
To cover a great distance down the river, so you get to see more of the canyon in fewer days, you will be travelling the river in motorised rafts that have been specially crafted for this purpose.
They are designed so that we are able to pack supplies for the entire trip, and as they are also larger and more stable than a boat that needs to be rowed, we are able to accommodate ‘rafters’ of all fitness levels.

Accommodation and MealsYou will be camping along the river throughout the trip – all equipment is provided for you. Meals are prepared with fresh meats, vegetables and fruits. The boatmen are masters of Dutch oven cooking and prepare delicious meals for you to enjoy.
