Departure dates
You can choose any month to start, that best suits you. It is important to consider the climate conditions of the country at the time of year that you are scheduled to visit – do you want to travel in their summer, winter or rainy seasons?
Duration
The length of time to complete this programme would be approximately 6 months. Please note that all projects have very different start dates and it may not be possible to follow a programme directly as another ends. On these occasions your travel adviser will be able to suggest options for a tour or independent travel at these times.
Different durations are also available, please speak to a travel adviser to discuss your travel requirements.
Itinerary changes
Please note that this programme is an outline and can be used as a guideline, our travel advisers are happy to tailor make an itinerary to suit the exact projects that you would like to participate in. For example, if you do not want to teach children you may choose another wildlife, conservation or community programme instead. Changing is not a problem but may add an increase to the costs. Similarly, if you would like to omit a programme/destination we can decrease the cost for you.
Additionally, if you would like to spend longer in any of these countries to travel independently, this can easily be organised – please discuss all of your requirements with your travel adviser.
