Voluntary work in Zambia is an extremely rewarding way to immerse yourself in the culture and everyday life of a country that’s undoubtedly one of Africa’s best kept secrets. Both of the Zambia voluntary work programmes are dedicated to providing care and support to some of the Zambia’s most vulnerable and disadvantaged children, many of whom have been orphaned as a result of Africa’s AIDS epidemic. Volunteers can support the Zambia voluntary work programmes by coaching sports to providing assistance at a medical clinic.
Work as a classroom-teaching assistant, or as a sports coach in Zambia. The aim for both of these projects is to take children from the streets, improve their educational and social skills to give them more opportunities for the future.
