Two of our Zimbabwe career break volunteer programmes are lion breeding projects – both of which provide plenty of opportunity for volunteers to help with preparing the lion cubs for their eventual release back in to the wild. Zimbabwe is a well-established country for voluntary work in conservation, especially for working with wildlife in Africa. At this project, volunteers actively participate in lion conservation practices, working closely with the lions and wildlife re-introduction programmes.
