Zimbabwe's biggest game reserve, Hwange National Park, is home to the largest population of elephants in the world, as well as vast herds of buffalo, zebra and giraffe- definitely the ideal location to see the Big Five in action. The Matopos Hills are also a top wildlife destination, with large numbers of birds and rare species, including white and black rhino; this mysterious and ancient area is the site of Cecil Rhodes' tomb and has a rich battlescarred history of its own.
