Programme Details

This is a three-and-a-half week expedition that gives you an up close and personal view of Zimbabwe’s stunning landscapes and diverse wildlife, and gives you the chance to get involved with high-impact conservation initiatives. It’s a unique programme that draws on the services of experienced project managers and professional guides to enable you to make a significant contribution towards wildlife conservation and research objectives across Africa.

Gain an in-depth knowledge of the African bush and cultures through the Zambezi River Exploration, with nights spent camping on its banks and islands. In the daytime, you’ll paddle along its waterways towards Victoria Falls, spotting wildlife along the way. In your second week, you’ll take part in an exciting Bush Survival Course, which will introduce you to the true African bush and give you a deeper understanding of the fragile relationships between man and beast.

Spend time in Hwange National Park, walking with lions and helping with the lion breeding and rehabilitation programme, before getting involved with the black rhino and elephant conservation project. Again, you’ll be able to observe these fascinating species close up and carry out work to help protect them from extinction.
